Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)

Description:
Location: Canoga Park, CA
Rate: $70.00 - $96.50/HR
Duration: 6 month contract
Shift: 9/80 Schedule. OT possible.
Per Diem Split: Yes (if eligible)

** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens **
** Permanent residents are NOT eligible for this role **
** Dual citizens are NOT eligible for this role. Also, candidates with a current non-U.S. passport in addition to a U.S. passport are NOT acceptable **

Duties:
-The successful candidate will have experience using IBM Rational tools including Rhapsody/Design Manager (DM); Rational Publishing Engine (RPE); and the Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools of DOORS Next Generation (DNG), Quality Manager (RQM), and Team Concert (RTC).
-Knowledge of Jazz Team Server (JTS) enterprise management is useful.
-A mastery level of practice as a SysML Model User and Builder is required.
-Understanding of how these applications are deployed and used in the aerospace industry is preferred.
-Rocket engine or propulsion system domain knowledge is desirable.
-The successful candidate will develop new company capability, provide tool troubleshooting support for programs, document work instructions, provide training, and communicate success stories.


Skills:
Required:
