Embedded SW Engineer HWIL W/Secret Clearance

Description:
*This is a full time, 1 year contract position located in Grande Prairie TX*



We are hiring for an Active Secret Cleared Software Engineer who has developed/maintained and integrated RTOS models that interface to avionics hardware which communicates to units under lab/test in a Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) environment.



Candidate will develop/maintain the real time (RT) simulation, interface, driver and data/display collection code. It is expected that the applicant will handle software development from requirements collection/analysis to integration and test in a prototype environment.



Required:
*4 years’ experience in Software development of Embedded C++ in a RTOS or Linux environment

*Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) IEEE standard

*Real Time simulation system/modelling experience; Unit under test experience

*Experience modifying and loading drivers in a CentOS 7.X operating system

*Experience developing basic diagnostic, test software, user API routines and writing real-time applications that map to and provide data to the interface hardware.



Pluses:
*Experience implementing and testing missile Operational Flight Software

*Experience with device driver and user interface code

*Ada development/HWIL/SIL environment.

*Concurrent Hardware experience
