STS Technical Services is Hiring A&P Mechanics in El Paso, Texas.
A&P Mechanic Responsibilities:
Perform required maintenance on company aircraft.Ensure all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer’s manuals and FAA accepted or approved data
Adheres to all applicable FARs and Company policies and procedures outlined in the General Procedures Manual (GPM) and the Company’s, FAA Approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
Interpret aircraft technical manuals, and electrical drawings
Responsible for movement of aircraft in hangar and on ramp, including operation of tow-tractor
Maintain work area in a neat, clean and safe condition at all times
Perform only those tasks for which proper training and qualification has been obtained
Document On-the-job training (OJT) on from (T#004) for training received on tasks which Mechanic/Repairmen has not previously performed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Need A&Ps with minimum of 2 years experience and/or any Regional GenFam training
Must have at least 2 years of CRJ 900 experience (If you have CRJ GenFam, the experience requirement may be waived).
Hold a Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
Familiar with parameters and standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations, Parts 53, 65 and 91
Familiar with basic inventory management functions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously with others
Familiar with computer data entry, and Microsoft Windows based programs
Capable of lifting 75 lbs
Able to work flexible schedule to include day and night shifts
Willing to travel as needed

Aerospace Engineer - Electrical Systems

Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Aerospace Engineer - Electrical Systems to fill an opening with a company located in Moses Lake, WA. Interested candidates should have aerospace engineering experience in Electrical Systems, including experience in the electrical aspects of the various systems and components and/or controllers on the airplane (e.g. ECS, Fuel, hydraulics, engines, fire protections, anti-ice, lights, electrical power, writing, etc.).

Responsibilities of the Aerospace Engineer - Electrical Systems

Review and support Certification Activities.
Create and review Certification Plans.
Create and review Component Qualification Test Plans, Qualification Test Procedures and Qualification Test Plans.
Review qualification by similarity and/or analysis reports.
Review system safety documents (PSSA, SFHA, ADHA, SSA and Particular Risk Analysis).
Create, review and approve ground test procedures, flight test procedures and their corresponding test reports.
Perform Component Drawing Reviews.
Complete aircraft assembly and installation drawing reviews.
Participate in System Design Reviews.
Coordinate with suppliers.
Coordinate with certification authorities.
Review certification guidance material (advisory circulars, etc.) and incorporate the necessary guidance into the certification plans.
Discuss, write and review test plans and preparation activities with flight test team.
Help prepare and review pre and post flight briefing.
Monitor live flight data, typically via telemetry, during flight test on aircraft.
Process, analyze, and draw conclusions from post flight data. Identify non-conformances, quality escapes, etc. to crate rejection tags.
Make assessments to ensure safety of flight determination.

Requirements of the Aerospace Engineer - Electrical Systems

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, or Instrumentation). Other Engineering fields may be considered.
Aerospace engineering experience in Electrical Systems, including experience in the electrical aspects of the various systems and components and/or controllers on the airplane (e.g. ECS, Fuel, hydraulics, engines, fire protections, anti-ice, lights, electrical power, writing, etc.).
Knowledge of flight test operations and flight certification, including knowledge of electrical aspects of the various systems and components and/or controllers on the airplane.
Solid leadership presence as well as people management skills
Strong proficiency in writing summaries, documents, reports, and presentations.

Job Summary:
The Aircraft Mechanic I (Electrical)troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. This worker reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments. Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction. Work involves: replacing or repairing worn or damaged components, such as carburetors, alternators, magnetos, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck, disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft. Job duties require that this mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes. This incumbent supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, may service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, may specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and may specialize in engine repair. This worker may be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Applicant must have H-60 experience. H-47 experience is also welcome.
-Applicant must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.
-Applicant must have experience installing and testing of electrical/avionic systems. Experience in wiring schematics and wire running of Aircraft a plus.
-Applicant must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers.
This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.

Preferred Skills
