DRAFTING SUPPORT

Description:
Role: Drafting Support
Location: Vandenberg AFB, CA
Duration: 6+ months’ contract

Qualifications:
• Work duties will include creating new or modifying existing drawings based on engineering sketches and drawing markups to conform with all of standards and requirements.
• Performing walk downs of projects to verify details will be required. Additional duties would include incorporating 'As Built' edits, new drawings and other design changes into the existing Facility Drawing Set, and scanning and digitizing existing paper drawings for digital.
• Perform configuration management and drawing release functions.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of professional drafting experience.
• Experience with drafting electrical, mechanical and structural designs.
• Experience working independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
• The selected candidate must have excellent communication, writing and oral skills and have the ability to work with a wide range of team members.
• Have mastery of AutoCAD drawing program.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and logic diagrams
