RF Product Design Engineer

Description:
Position Summary:

An experienced Mechanical Engineer with RF product design experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Creates RF circuit layouts based on input from RF engineers
Designs and analyzes mechanical packaging for RF circuit layouts
Understands and designs to meet customer specifications and other requirements for space applications
Creates fabrication drawings to support procurement
Creates bills of material and assembly drawings to support manufacturing
Supervises and coordinates work of other product design engineers working on the same project
Creates and maintains indentured drawing lists for new custom designs
Prepares and maintains schedules for completion of all the various types of documentation
Designs fixtures as required for manufacturing/testing

Job Requirements:

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar
A minimum of 4 years of related experience with microwave package design for space applications
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office
Knowledge of materials and processes used in microwave circuit construction
Knowledge of machined part design
Experience creating all types of documentation listed above
Familiarity with ERP database desired, particularly Intuitive ERP
