Facility Construction Project Manager (Aerospace)

Description:
This Project Manager for ISR & SS Windsor Locks, CT facilities will provide professional Facility Engineering and Project Management to designated projects and assignments.

The candidate will be responsible for the Design, Development, Verification and Documentation of the Mechanical Infrastructure and Equipment used in fabricating, assembling, testing and inspecting products.

The candidate must work well with all functional groups and have good communications skills at all levels are required.

Candidate will interface with Windsor Locks Campus Services, Test Engineering, Program Personnel, Engineering Lab Personnel and Space Lab Personnel.

Projects range from small single tasks to larger scale construction projects including:
• Facility Upgrades,
• Facility Renovations,
• Special Projects, and
• Managing Equipment Installation.

The candidate will:
• assist in the selection and contracting process of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project,
• provide hands-on involvement with equipment and processes by being available to the Operators, Maintenance Personnel, and other Facility Engineers
• gain intimate knowledge of processes and
• manage capital projects on time and within budget
