Systems Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last two (2) years****

Job Description:
1. This position is with the historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, CA.
2. Known for some of the most advance and groundbreaking aircraft ever produced, we continue to push the bounds of technology today.
3. The successful candidate will have a technical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic understanding of military aircraft functionality and an understanding of the role of systems engineering and integration.
4. Will generate, decompose, track and verify requirements, perform risk assessments, perform trade studies, write SOWs (statement of work) and supplier specifications, perform technical planning, and perform requirements verification.

Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or above degree from an accredited college in a related technical, engineering and/or scientific discipline.
2. Experience in Systems Engineering.
3. Experience with requirements definition, tracking and/or verification.
4. Experience in writing processes and procedures.
5. Familiarity with DOORS is a plus.
6. Strong Written, Verbal and interpersonal Communication Skills.
7. Experience understanding the generation of systems architecture and assorted artifacts.
8. Experience dealing with vendors and subcontractors, overseeing contracted work.

1. Level 1: BS+0-3 YRS
