Qualifications:

You Will:

Instrumentation Lab Technician (Aerospace Rotorcraft)

You Will :

• Report to the onsite Engineering Manager
• The Instrumentation Laboratory Technician is responsible for setting up, operation and maintenance of specialized instrumentation data acquisition systems.
• This includes the use of simple electronics equipment including ohmmeter and voltmeter. This includes wiring and soldering connections.
• He/she must possess technical skills for troubleshooting, maintenance and limited repair of low power DC circuits.
• Work on both metallic and Composite parts/ assemblies to fix strain gages and wiring for data collection
• There may be travel requirements for off-site testing which can last up to 8 weeks at a time. Also, candidate should
• Can work second shift if necessary.

You Will Need:
• Ability to solder and build cables, with knowledge of various connector types.
• Very good knowledge of strain gages, fixing them on surfaces such as Composite structures, metallic structures and pipes etc.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment with customers and other disciplines
• Proficient to read and understand wiring diagrams for small project assembly
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Microsoft software suite applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Good communication skills – oral and written.
• Physical strength -ability to lift up to 75 lbs , climb and work for extend periods in confined areas

• Design test specimens for features testing, with discussions of design engineers, such as riveted joint specimens, Holed / notched specimens,

Duties:
Our client in Orlando, FL is seeking an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineer to support the deceleration team. This team is responsible for design and analysis of the parachute systems used for air-extraction of our various launch vehicles. These air-extractions are similar in concept to standard military cargo extraction from aircraft like the C-130 or C-17A.

The successful candidate will be asked to perform parachute design activities through 6DOF simulation and loads analysis. This entails designing parachute structures, reefing ratios, riser and mainline lengths, etc. to ensure a successful extraction and descent while ensuring launch vehicle load capabilities are not exceeded. The candidate will be expected to read, understand, update, and maintain a 6 Degree-of-Freedom simulation used to simulate the extraction and descent of our clients launch vehicles. Description:
Inconen is looking for a Turbomachinery Mechanical Design Engineer / Product Definition – Level 4 for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Canoga Park, CA.

** Candidates should have at least 5 years of turbomachinery/rotating machinery experience **

Duties:
-Perform and support mechanical design activities for rocket turbomachinery components and assemblies from concept through final detailed design.
-This position requires the development of design concepts, 3D models, and support the development and checking of detailed drawings for the manufacture of parts.
-Activity requires key interactions with component analysis, manufacturing, project engineering, quality and customer support groups.
-Develop GD&T application, tolerance analysis, systems design and integration, fabrication process identification, and synthesis of higher level requirements to component level requirements.
-Conduct trade studies and develop schedules, test plans, component specifications and procedures as reqd.
-Applicant must have prior turbomachinery design or development experience.

Skills:
-Must possess advanced knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
-Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and related specifications.
-Ability to write clearly and concisely.
-Understanding of appropriate codes, regulations and specifications as well as applicable customer requirements.
-Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD – Pro/E, Creo2 is required with advanced modeling skills including surfacing) and Computer-Aided Manufacture (CAM) methods and techniques.

Umbilical Systems Designer

Description:
An Umbilical Systems Designer job in Kent, WA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Umbilical team to design, develop, and test the umbilical systems between the ground, first, and second stages. To be considered for this role, you will have a Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, and 6+ years of experience with launch vehicle, aircraft, or spacecraft fluid or mechanical systems.


Umbilical Systems Designer Job duties:

* Engage in all levels of the entire design cycle of umbilical systems including conceptual design from requirements, system performance modeling, system layout and structural analysis, manufacturing and integration support, test definition and mission support
* System synthesis from initial sizing and performance calculations to full system 1-D thermo-fluid analysis and CFD as required
* Documentation of engineering deliverables including interfaces, drawings per ASME Y14.5, FEA, and other analysis
* Component level testing by coordinating test plans, procedures, fixtures, test execution, and data analysis
* Pressurized system analysis using hand calculations and FEA

Qualifications:

* Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo Pro/E and Pro/E Piping preferred) and GD&T
* Experience in the use of FEA analysis tools (ANSYS preferred)
* Experience with pressurized system or component design
* Working knowledge of fabrication, integration processes, and quality control techniques relative to tubes and machined components
* Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
