Airframe Process Engineer

Description:
The Airframe Process Engineer is required for 1st, or split shift (1st to 2nd, flexible hours) to complete tasks as related to AeroStructures in Support of Black Hawk Major Assembly build, tooling, liaison, and planning.

The candidate’s responsibilities will include supporting a Process Engineer Lead assigned to existing Black Hawk programs.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Manufacturing Engineering support of Black Hawk build and designs by providing producibility review, work instruction planning, developing tooling and manufacturing plans, and manufacturing implementation and support of airframe installation and modifications.
• Reviewing, signing off, creating and implementing PCAS for EC changes,

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Create Proposal Outlines and Layouts for customers.

Work with engineering for initial 2D concept of product.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years Knowledge of NC programming and machining methods.
• 4+ years of experience with CAD software, NX Unigraphics preferred.
• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Training Preferred.

The Quality Control Inspector I examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.

Major Responsibilities:

Create and coordinate solutions for 2D and 3D wire harness installation designs and incorporates changes to the design plan. Performs complex design change incorporation as required. Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Wire Harness physical design and installation (e.g., 3D wire harness installation models, wire harness assembly models, and 2D formboard drawings).
Perform assigned tasks meeting the organization's expectations for quality, schedule, and process compliance.
Collaborate and coordinate with the customer to develop design solutions.
Contact subcontractors and suppliers to exchange technical data and coordinate project execution.
Ensures application of business unit best practices and identifies the need for enhanced processes, methods, and tools.

Education and/or Experience:

Knowledge/Skills:
Exercises broad latitude in determining technical solutions.
Is considered an expert in engineering principles, theories, technologies, and concepts in the assigned discipline.
Working knowledge of configuration management.
