Job Summary:
The Aircraft Mechanic I (Electrical)troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. This worker reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments. Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction. Work involves: replacing or repairing worn or damaged components, such as carburetors, alternators, magnetos, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck, disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft. Qualifications and Education Requirements
Applicant must have H-60 experience. H-47 experience is also welcome.

Desired Applicant must have experience and ability to operate or perform one or more of the following:
Aircraft structural experience in modification to include but not limited to structural TM/TO repairs, build to print assembly and installation. Required Skills:

The primary responsibility of this engineer is the design and development of high-performance RF and microwave products. As a HW Engineer, you will be an integral part of a project team responsible for designing and developing a product from concept to release.

Morson International is currently recruiting for a Wire Installation Technical Designer for our client, an acknowledged leader in engineering design services, design-led manufacturing, networks and operations, data transformation, and analytics. Their site in Hartford, Connecticut is in need of candidates on a 6 month temp to perm basis to support a large project they are ramping up nationwide.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Wire Installation Technical Designer to perform wire routing and harness integration in an engineering team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and release electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards.
• Prepare documentation and incorporate design changes using design tools.
• Create, develop and maintain systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies.
• Support engineering system design and functionality validation activities.
• Develop and maintain product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex.
• Aircraft walk through, hands on installation and design check.
• Experience with Boeing aircraft is preferred.
• Coordinate activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers.
• Work under general direction.
Requirements:
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. 'US Person' includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• 1 or more years of designing or supporting electrical wire harness Installations
• Experience with CATIA V5 or V6.
• Knowledge of Boeing process standards preferred.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Must have excellent computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
