Description:
The Electrical Designer/CAD Drafter position will have emphasis on Aerospace Electronics Circuits.

Activities will include:
• conceptual layout,
• detailed design, and
• engineering documentation of complex multi-layer analog, digital, mixed signal, RF, high speed, and high-power PCB layout designs.

Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and retrofit (improve invulnerability and survivability) on the Army Stryker family of vehicles (FOVs) or components pursuant to applicable contracts within the organization
• Scheduled maintenance: Periodic and preventative manufacturer (in accordance with the IETM) required maintenance to extend the life of the vehicle and/or performing upgrades as mandated during a designated period of time by customer.
• Unscheduled maintenance: The emergent, corrective or restorative maintenance requirements not previously planned or programmed but require prompt attention and must be added to, integrated with, or substituted for previously scheduled workloads.
• Troubleshoot: Systematically identify issues and problems within the complex mechanical systems, electronics, computers and software systems within the Stryker family of vehicles.

General Summary:
The Electrical Wiring Design Engineer will perform wiring design and integration tasks associated with the electrical systems of the aircraft.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains aircraft systems wiring diagrams, parts lists, and electrical harness drawings.
Develops wiring designs for aircraft electrical systems.
Prepares specifications drawings, process layouts and capacity planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent understanding and specification of aircraft electrical harness components selection, harness design requirements, harness level system separation, and system integration at the wiring level required.

The role will involve:
• requirements definition using DOORS or structured modelling,

Basic Qualifications

Structural Designer IV

Description:
The Structural CAD Designer will prepare predominantly civil, structural and architectural detail drawings. Will work with Structural Engineers to produce drawings required to perform structural modifications to new and existing launch facilities. This position is in support of United Launch Alliance Launch Operations at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Florida for the Atlas V, Delta IV and future Vulcan launch vehicles. He/she will gather and organize information, perform research and prepare sketches and detailed drawings for facility modification contracts.
