Software Developer and Tester

Description:
Design and test of ground-based aircraft maintenance systems software Systems and software design, requirements management, systems specifications, validation and verification testing, and documentation for system and software requirements in a laboratory or desktop simulation environment.

Perform formal software development through design for requirements using various programming languages, libraries and file formats, programming tools, and CM tools
Conduct software integration and systems testing on target hardware in a lab environment.

Develop, implement, document, and review software cases and expected results
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is required. Major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.

· Master’s Degree in the Computer Science disciplines mentioned above is preferred.

· IT Level II certification with Security +, Windows 7/10 operating systems, and Windows Server 2012/2016 is preferred.

· Must be able to pass and obtain a USG Background Investigation and Common Access Card (CAC)

· Must be knowledge concerning - and have experience with - with multiple primary development environments.

· Programming languages, libraries and file formats include Java, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, Restful web services, CSS, JSF, SQL (database) XML (including Xpath/Xquery), SVG (Graphics/Plotting/…), and HTTP

· Programming tools include Tomcat (Web Server), PostGreSql (Database), Eclipse (Development Environment) Squirrel (Database) Ant (Build Tool)

· Configuration Management tools include SVN, Dimensions/PVCS, BugZilla
