Senior Systems Engineer

Description:
Assigned To Gina

Technical tasks may include signal processing/electronic protection/search/track/discrimination algorithm development, performance assessment trade studies, and analysis of sensor signal and data processing subsystems. Assignments focus on developing competency and contribution to program requirements definition, sub-system integration and test, and algorithm design.

Systems Engineers will use MATLAB regularly to conduct data analyses, and are expected to document and present technical results using standard Microsoft Office tools. The engineer should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment. Engineer will develop the technical acumen in the following Radar/Sensing areas:

Algorithm Development

Tracking and Discrimination *Statistical and Numerical Analysis of Radar Data Required Skills: *Minimum 3+ years overall engineering experience working with MATLAB tools for radar data analysis 

Experience in radar requirements development and/or design of system level software architecture
Experience with radar systems and signal processing techniques

Must have a DOD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills: *Familiarity with Simulink modeling tools, DOORS *Familiarity with Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection techniques

Proven ability to develop system and subsystem performance and test requirements, evaluate systems and subsystems interfaces, or design and integrate systems or subsystems using COTS/government supplied equipment

Proven experience with current air defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems

Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills

Strong analytic, technical and problem solving skills.

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics area
