Manufacturing Planner

Description:
Position : Manufacturing Planner
Location: Bothell, WA
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Client : Biggest Aerospace and Defense

Description:
Must have 3+ years of working as in Production Control in an ERP environment (preferably SAP). Performs the Make/Buy planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Maintains SAP/ERP production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule, and executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Works with Ops Management team and Master Scheduling to maintain accurate MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM. Responsible for releasing work to the production floor on time and accurately.

Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory
•Must have 3-4; years of working experience as in Production Control in an ERP environment.
•Must have 3-4; years of work experience performing the Make/Buy planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions.
•Work experience in expediting and optimizing material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
•Very organized Ability to work in faced paced environment.
•SAP/ERP experience Production Control in a manufacturing environment.
•Strategy planning mindset. Ability to pull, analyze and effectively communicate data timely to drive execution to schedule.
•Ensure tactical tasks are being execute to closure.
