Flight Testing System Engineer - Lab

Description:
*This is a full time, 1 year contract located in Palmdale, CA*



We are hiring for an aerospace Systems Engineer who will set up the integration and lab testing of our military aircraft flight systems. Candidate will develop (in a lab environment) requirements, procedures and set up integration and testing.



Daily duties will include planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost/risk, supportability / effectiveness analyses, concept design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Will create and execute functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies into customer requirements and hardware and software specs.



Required:
*7+ years of Aerospace System Engineering of flight systems; hardware configuration management.
*Familiar with Embedded C/C++, not as a developer, but in support of the projects
*Able to read technical documents, plans, blueprints, drawings, part lists; good Excel skills, creating lists, linking and pivot tables.
* RF Testing experience
*Knowledge of wire harness design and integration
*Good project planning skills including functional allocation, leading meetings, milestone tracking, reporting, hardware allocations.
*Active secret clearance with investigation in the last 5 years.
*Engineering degree or in lieu of degree with an 5 additional years’ experience
