Description

Duties include ability to interface with Program Management, Operations Management and Manufacturing functional team members in a high product mix environment. Acts as Production Control representative in IPT for a production Product Family, which consists of multiple production platforms and configurations. Responsibilities includes Scheduling/Planning to a Product Family structure with Lean Manufacturing and material delivery to Takt Time/Cycle Time requirement. Responsible for review and implementation of Program launch, execution of all phases of project activity and program closeout. Responsible for weekly status of manufacturing, sourcing, critical path, program work around development and PC budget during all phases of Project activity to Program and Functional team members and management. Verification of BOM order policy, and lead-times prior to production launch. Design change implementation with impact to schedule and budget are part of these positions responsibilities. Accuracy of change documentation and Quick turn around a priority.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

Experience in a hardware manufacturing environment. Experience in an MRP based software production application. Significant Excel experience and considered mastered. Familiar with Procurement processes. Attention to detail is critical Experience with DoD contracts.

Desired:

Experienced using SAP as a MRP application.
APICS certimication.
Green Belt Certification or involvement in quality improvement/cost savings events
