Weights Engineer - China

Description:
Leading aerospace company are seeking a Weights Engineer with commercial aircraft experience for a range aircraft development projects, based at their modern research & development facility in Shanghai. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

•Responsible for overall weight of aircraft design
•Weight control of aircraft from design through to manufacturing phases
•Aircraft mass distribution calculations
•Load balance analysis for aircraft
•Responsibility for weight tool software development and usage.

You will degree qualified and have considerable experience as a Weights Engineer on commercial aircraft projects working for OEMs. Ideally this will include knowledge of software tools for weights analysis.

This position will be on a fixed-term contract basis of 2-3 years initially, with a strong likelihood of further work beyond this. They come with an attractive salary package which includes allowances for accommodation, home leave (typically 4 times a year), local transport, healthcare etc
