Telecom Specialist Audio & Video

Location: Savannah, GA
Pay Rate: $39.66/hr - $44.08/hr
Duration: Long Term W2 Contract
Shift: First

Unique Skills:
Cisco CUCM, Voice routing experience, SIP

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field highly preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to audio/video telecommunications systems, technologies and related equipment

Position Purpose:
Performs the evaluation, implementation and maintenance of existing and emerging audio/video telecommunications technologies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
1. Perform installations, maintenance, and upgrades of audio/video telecommunications systems and related peripheral equipment. 2. Assist in evaluating new tools and technologies for audio/video services. 3. Troubleshoot audio/video telecommunications hardware and software problems and answer any questions associated with these. 4. Assist with one or more of the analytical tasks associated with technical areas within the audio/video telecom function.

Additional Functions:
1. Performs other duties as assigned

1. Broad and in-depth knowledge of audio/video telecommunications systems, technologies and related equipment
2. Detail oriented
3. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, planning, and decision making skills
