Component Engineer Designer

Description:
Will possess a four year degree in an engineering discipline, either Mechanical or Electrical, 2000 hours CATIA design experience as well as 3 to 4 years’ experience in a design/manufacturing environment.

The designer will work with a variety of engineering disciplines in a cooperative, Product Development Team format.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills as well as personal computer literacy using Microsoft Office
products will be required.

A working knowledge of MIL-W-5088 or AS50881 is desired.

Assignments in the Component Installation Section require the knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical drafting practices, geometric tolerancing, engineering mathematics, manufacturing practices as well as the ability to interpret equipment specifications and electrical schematics. C

Will be responsible for the design and preparation of detail, assembly and installation drawings as required to define aircraft
component and harness installations.

Will tackle challenging assignments and develop unique solutions to rotorcraft Component Installation Design. Areas of design responsibility include electrical power system components,
instrument panel and crew station design, antennas, lighting, airspeed systems, molded wiring assemblies and wire harness assemblies/installations.

LCA experience preferred.
