Composite Structural Design Engineer

Description:
Position Responsibilities
Under the direction of project design engineering, serve as a member of a design team providing detail design for engineering CAD models. The main product line will require design-to-build activities for a Military aircraft composed of primary composite and secondary composite and metallic structures. In addition, we will require modeling using Parametric modeling techniques for sustainable design.

Minimum Requirements
• Education: A BS degree is highly desired
• 10 years of experience in Aerospace
• 6000+ hours experience with CATIA v5 (Part Design and Generative Surface Design (GSD) a plus)
• At least 2000 hrs on V5R23 or higher
• Entirely 3D CAD Design using Model Based Definition (MBD)
• Experience with ENOVIA\SmarTeam
• Experience with CATIA Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA) workbench-300 hours
• Experience with CATIA Composite Part Design (CPD) a plus
• SmarTeam experience is preferred
• Ideal Candidates : Familiar with GD&T for MBD. Lack of or limited MBD workbench with tolerancing may limit contractor's duration on the program.
• Able to move around a production facility
Must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder.
