Position Summary / Responsibilities

PCB Designers specialize in the areas of printed circuit board layout, routing, and design. The ability to take board from initial packaging and placement to board readiness / artwork review is critical. CAD tool proficiency is absolutely essential. Experienced performers are expected to take on final design and drawing check responsibilities. Familiarity with board production such as the assembly and manufacturing processes is required. Designers are also expected to learn and follow all applicable processes. All work requires familiarity with IPC-6012 Class 2 requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

•Five years industry experience in board layout
•BS degree in mechanical engineering, electrical/computer engineering, or other equivalent design-related degree is required.
•10 years of printed circuit board design experience in lieu of degree.
•Proficiency in Mentor Expedition/ DxDesigner flow experience is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience in high speed digital as well as RF board layout.
•IPC CID Certification preferred
