Job Summary:
The Aircraft Mechanic I (Electrical)troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments. Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction. Qualifications and Education Requirements
Applicant must have H-60 experience. H-47 experience is also welcome.
-Applicant must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.
-Applicant must have experience installing and testing of electrical/avionic systems. Experience in wiring schematics and wire running of Aircraft a plus.

Desired Applicant must have experience and ability to operate or perform one or more of the following:

Avionics Engineer

Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position provides support to the Air Force’s Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Technical Engineering Services Directorate (AFLCMC/EZ) in conducting an analysis of the known Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and cyber risks associated with positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) avionics onboard USAF aircraft. The engineer will contribute to AFLCMC/EZ’s effort to analyze NAVWAR and cyber risk associated with PNT subsystems for USAF aircraft. The engineer will work daily with Government employee PNT technical experts and cyber risk assessment specialists. The engineer will frequently be called on by the AFLCMC/EZ Government customer to facilitate technical meetings and support the development of cyber and NAVWAR risk assessment briefings.
Responsible for collaborating with Government employees to conduct NAVWAR and cyber risk analyses for PNT avionics subsystems. The engineer will facilitate risk analysis activities both within AFLCMC/EZ and in outreach activities with USAF aircraft System Program Offices (SPOs) and technical centers of excellence across DoD. Responsible for the day-to-day execution of NAVWAR and cyber risk analysis and reporting activities under the oversight of AFLCMC/EZ Government employees. Facilitates the planning and execution of technical interchanges associated with avionics cyber risk analyses.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

ROLE SUMMARY



Position involves over-site for all trades within Construction Safety including maintenance, facilities and Site Services contractors at the Site. Leads EHS support for Capital projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Serve as program owner for the Site's Contractor Safety program that includes knowledge of construction crane safety, confined space, hot work, fall protection, line breaking and lockout, excavations, silica, electrical safety, waste management and scaffolding.

  • Serve as a member of the Site's Environment Health and Safety team.

  • Lead and set expectations on proper safety planning, enhancing the use of Pre-Job Hazard Assessments on construction and eventually non-construction areas.

  • Develop and ensure processes are in place to assure that contractors and project team members or maintenance contractor managers to the construction site understand the environmental and safety expectations. (Actual training is performed by Contractor Safety personnel).

  • Performs Contractor Safety Gap assessments to continually improve the Site's program.

  • Provides technical consulting for construction site safety related issues along with serving as a liaison across Operations, EHS, Maintenance, and Capital Project teams. Provides EHS leadership in risk-based decision making while keeping key organizational Leaders informed in Construction Safety.

  • Support the site with review of contractor incidents and, remediation or improvement plans, and other actions to ensure contractor safety for all trade contractors on-site. Review contract firm safety programs for compliance with Pharmaceutical programs and best practices.

  • Identify trends and best practices in the contractor safety area and implement new site programs for trade contractors as appropriate. This includes defining metrics to evaluate contractor's performance.

  • Successfully uses recognized system analysis tools to perform risk assessments, investigations, program auditing that result in identifying value-added improvements. Identify trends that have the potential to create harm to people, work, environments or communities.

  • Conducts and documents project level incident investigations; documenting root causes contributing to an incident and corrective actions.

  • Understands and interprets electrical safety standards; the National Electric Code (NEC), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, NESC (National Electrical Safety Code).




BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 3-years of experience in Construction Safety

Description:
We are currently seeking experienced Flight Test Engineers to fill an opening for a company in Moses Lake, WA. The ideal candidate for this position should have 5 plus years relevant work experience related to experimental flight test operations and familiarity with FAA Part 25 or Part 23 certification.

Responsibilities of the Flight Test Engineer

Supporting engineering teams with test plan creation.

The Staff Electrical Engineer will work with a global team of engineers in Phoenix and India, on electronic control units for Aerospace applications. The role will support the entire design life cycle from project planning efforts to entry into service and production transition support. Requirements definition using DOORS, detailed design, validation of requirements and verification of implementation. Also includes managing Problem reports for hardware that has already been delivered.

As a Staff Electrical Engineer, this role will lead and mentor other electrical engineers throughout the entire design life cycle and support project planning efforts and ensure execution to schedule and budget.

Primary Responsibilities
• Primary ownership of Systems Development Processes.

The Thermal Analysis Engineer is responsible for evaluating the thermal properties and cooling performance of multiple air vehicle systems, including hydraulics, engine, avionics, electrical (including battery), and drive systems, as required to meet program and customer defined requirements.

Specific position responsibilities:

Perform thermal analyses of A/C systems to evaluate cooling requirements.
Perform sub-system component and air vehicle level thermal analyses to meet systems level requirements.

Experience performing thermal analysis using 1-D SINDA-G or AMESim network models, 3-D Fluent CFD conjugate heat transfer models, or equivalent.
Experienced with management and technical oversight of a component supplier.
Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate and lead activities, prioritize tasks, and report status.
Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
