Fuel System Designer (Entry Level)

Description:
General Summary:

The Entry-Level Engineer Fuel System Designer is responsible for the design of the fuel system installations and related system integration. This designer will join an established design team to execute design changes for the aircraft related to product improvements, cost savings, weight savings and other minor and major change projects. Although the position will reside in the fuel systems engineering team, the role will also involve working on propulsion system design activities as required by the overall team workload.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• The primary role of this position will be to create design packages that include 3-D models (in Catia) as well as 2-D drawings. This role will encompass the execution of the design from the concept phase through to drawing release
• The ideal candidate should be able to work well with the senior designers within the team but also be able to be self-sufficient and able to manage task execution to ensure on-time and on-target completion

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
• Bachelors degree in an engineering related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of previous design experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience with Catia V5
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products
• Familiar with FAR Part 23 or Part 25
• Familiar with Industry standards
