Helicopter Dynamics Analyst

Description:
The ideal candidate will support, perform and manage a Dynamics Analysis function for Rotorcraft Mechanical Systems, which applies Dynamics theory to the design and analysis to verify designs have the desired Dynamics characteristics.

These activities focus on the analysis of complicated mechanical systems mainly via by mathematical modeling of systems, as well as the support of component and system level testing to verify satisfactory Dynamic characteristics.

Specific projects will include the design, analysis and test of absorber technologies and seat isolation technologies to be flight tested on developmental rotorcraft, and support of flight testing of aerial refueling probes to verify adequate dynamic response characteristics.

Knowledge and experience of Finite Element Modeling tools such as NASTRAN/PATRAN is required, and experience with performing Rap Testing using LMS equipment.

This is a senior level position requiring 30+ years of experience in the field of Helicopter Dynamics
