The Airframe Structural Analysis Group is responsible for the structural integrity of the airframe fuselage, landing gear and propulsion installations and all other attachments to airframe fuselage, including electrical, controls and dynamic systems attachments.

Responsibilities cover composite and conventional structures and extend from conceptualization on through development, manufacturing and field service support.

Specific functions include: Static structural analysis and Margin of Safety determination, fatigue and fracture mechanics analysis of critical interfaces, determination of airframe component replacement and / or retirement times, specification and design of airframe related static and fatigue tests, field support and formal engineering documentation.

Education requirement: B.S.in M.E., A.E. or C.E., M.S. or M.E. preferred

Work Experience Required: Minimum of 6-8 years experience in the functions described above. Strong familiarity with Finite Element Modeling of airframe structure for static and fatigue purposes. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Software Experience: NASTRAN/PATRAN or equivalent FEM, Catia, MS Office applications.

Secret Clearance preferred but not required.

MUST BE US PERSONS
MUST have successfully completed minimum training requirements defined in NAS 410, ATA 105, or ASNT-SNT-TC-1A for a Level 2 inspector in UT and PT.

• Responsible for accomplishing assigned inspection work on space flight system hardware, assemblies and vehicles.

• Shall be required to document inspection results in both paper and electronic forms as well as complete and sign work records in connection with work performed.

• Will be required to, but not limited to be working on check aircraft.
• Assist with development of procedures and techniques for non-destructive testing of metallic and composite structures.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must have successfully completed minimum training requirements defined in NAS 410, ATA 105, or ASNT-SNT-TC-1A for a Level 2 inspector in UT and PT. Training in other NDT methods is desirable.
• Must have recent, documented hours, working as a NDT inspector and have obtained sufficient experience to be certified in accordance with NAS 410, ATA 105, or ASNT-SNT-TC-1A.
• Must have strong working knowledge of composite aircraft and/or aerospace non-destructive testing processes in composite material.
• Ability to conduct inspections with limited supervision.
• Minimum 5 years aviation/aerospace industry experience desired.

Job Description:
1. Primary role is design of structural detail parts, assemblies and installations, but may support equipment and systems installations as well.

Responsibilities include providing full-life cycle technical recruiting to Company’s Aerospace Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL. Knowledge in all full-life cycle recruiting including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and candidate relationship management while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. A successful candidate must be able manage competing demands; accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements. Provides full-life cycle recruiting
Knowledge in all full-life cycle recruiting including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, comp analysis and formulating offers

Description:
A Technical Designer job in Kent, WA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical diagrams, schematics, harness assemblies and installation drawings for rocket engine avionics production test systems. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associates degree in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Technical Designer Job duties:

* Create 2-D electrical schematics, diagrams and drawings using AutoCad, Creo (Pro/Engineer), and Creo Schematics (RSD) for avionics production test systems.
* Create harness detail assemblies and installation drawings, including 2D flat harness drawings from the 3-D harness data sets.
* Create From-To wire list spreadsheets and documents from export datasets.
* Create mechanical detail drawings for parts fabrication.
* Provide technical guidance for hardware installation.

Qualifications:

* Experience with Creo - ProCabling highly desired; equivalent other software will be considered if all other required qualifications are met.
* Familiar with existing applicable harness standards - IPC/WHMA-A-620.
* Strong electrical/mechanical design and integration skills using 2-D and 3-D CAD software.
* Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Seeking an experienced structures & systems test engineer to support testing of mechanical systems and avionics components, assemblies, and integrated systems. The main tasks of this role are to define test requirements with internal customers, write test plans, design test stands and execute tests under the direction of the Engineering lead and/or Manager. Your Mission:

• Work with support teams and vendors to procure, manufacture and assemble test articles and test stand hardware and equipment.
• Analyze test data to verify test requirements and write test reports to document test results.

• Participate in the test engineering review, approval and release process.

What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• 4-8 years’ or more experience in aerospace with an emphasis on testing or equivalent laboratory test engineering experience
• CAD modelling experience – Experience with Catia V5 preferred
• Experience with simulation and finite element analysis preferred – NASTRAN, Femap
• Experience with DO-160 environmental test standards for mechanical systems
• Experience with the design of flight vehicles or vehicle systems to a set of requirements or standards such as CFR 14, Part 400, Part 23 and 25, military or NASA are highly desired
• Focus on safety and reliability in testing.
