Harness Engineer - RM

Description:
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Harness Engineer for a 15+ month contract in Stratford, CT!

No corp to corp or H1B sponsorship.

Description:

This is a technical position associated with the creation and maintenance of DITMCO test programs used to verify functionality and specification compliance of cables and electrical wire harness, and avionic assemblies.
The successful candidate is highly detail oriented, will consistently and flexibly provide support to a manufacturing back shop for the time sensitive delivery of product, and must design and maintain logistical control of process critical test cable tooling and related components.
Knowledge of electrical properties of diodes, switches, capacitors, relays and other common components.
Capable of interpreting design data as displayed in company drawing system or wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of MIL circular and other connector specifications, Aerospace Standards -Capable of communicating accurately with customers and design engineers to provide support or request information when required.
Will quickly learn to interpret product failure conditions displayed by DITMCO test system and perform the correct troubleshooting procedures.
DITMCO or other Automated Test Equipment programming for cable / electrical / avionic / harness testing experience a must.

5-10yrs experience

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
