JOB TITLE: Aircraft Final Line Mechanic II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $28.75 per hour

Summary:
Lead and support technicians in avionics installations, including fabricating wire harnesses, installing, terminating, and testing avionics/electrical systems.
Provide work direction and support to technicians.
Ensure tasks are completed within allocated time frames.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of aircraft.
Install, modify, and fabricate wiring and electrical components according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
Train team members on work assignments and techniques.
Contribute to employee development through skilled expertise.
Complete work innovatively and effectively.
Assist Engineering in problem resolution and repairs per engineering direction.
Maintain required logs and records.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Enforce company programs (FOD, tool control, 5-S) and safety regulations.
Review all work for defects prior to final inspection.
Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor.
Coordinate shift changes in the team leader's absence.
Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen).
Assist and fill in for the team coordinator as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years of related work experience, or four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electronics career field.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Knowledge of policies and procedures manual, inspection procedures manual, and relevant process specifications.
Ability to transition to new tasks with minimal impact on established goals and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer keyboard skills.
