Electrical Systems Design Engineer - Contract AND Direct Position Available

Description:
General Summary:
The Electrical Systems Engineer provides expertise in support of electrical/electronic systems through all phases of a project, including preliminary design, detailed design, development, certification, production, and product support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, development and certification support of the aircraft Electrical Power System, including power generation, distribution and energy storage

Qualifications

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
BS in an Engineering related discipline required, Master’s degree preferred
5 or more years of aviation experience with 8 or more years of directly related experience involving design, development and certification of electrical/electronic power systems
Knowledge of FAR Part 23 or 25 regulations
Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160, RTCA/DO-178 and RTCA/DO-254 processes preferred
Knowledge of system modeling and analysis tools preferred
