Junior Electrical Drafter 8387

Description:
TriMech Services is an engineering resource provider specializing in the placement of qualified technical candidates for both temporary and direct hire opportunities. TriMech Services offers a unique approach to matching the specialized skillsets of our candidates to the engineering specific industry.

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Drafter for one of our Tennessee offices.

Responsibilities

• Create new and maintain existing electrical drawings for technical equipment including warming cabinets, ovens and refrigeration.
• Work with electrical team creating electrical drawings in AutoCad and SolidWorks. Documentation includes ladder, point to point diagrams as well as 3d drawings and BOM’s.
• Work closely with new product developments as well as maintaining existing drawings to keep unit wiring accurate and up to date. This includes cross-checking others’ drawings before release.
• Interact with other team members to obtain information required to complete projects on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2 year technical degree or equivalent work experience
• AUTOCAD or SolidWorks experience drawing electrical diagrams and wire assemblies
• Experienced with good wiring practice, electrical tools, diagnostic equipment and electrical safety
• Detail-oriented with effective communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment, professionalism and teamwork skills.
• The qualified individual must occasionally lift and/or move 10-25 pounds
• Job requires continuous work at CAD station
