Job Description

Instrumentation Lab Technician (Aerospace Rotorcraft)

You Will :

• Report to the onsite Engineering Manager
• The Instrumentation Laboratory Technician is responsible for setting up, operation and maintenance of specialized instrumentation data acquisition systems.
• This includes the use of simple electronics equipment including ohmmeter and voltmeter. This includes wiring and soldering connections.
• He/she must possess technical skills for troubleshooting, maintenance and limited repair of low power DC circuits.
• Work on both metallic and Composite parts/ assemblies to fix strain gages and wiring for data collection
• There may be travel requirements for off-site testing which can last up to 8 weeks at a time. Also, candidate should
• Can work second shift if necessary.

You Will Need:
• Ability to solder and build cables, with knowledge of various connector types.
• Very good knowledge of strain gages, fixing them on surfaces such as Composite structures, metallic structures and pipes etc.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment with customers and other disciplines
• Proficient to read and understand wiring diagrams for small project assembly
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Microsoft software suite applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Good communication skills – oral and written.

Clean Room Analyst

Description:
This ideal candidate will:
• Act as a team member of the Quality Control department to support routine environmental monitoring of air, surface, and clean utilities for manufacturing of in-process and final product drug lots for customers.
• Compile data for documentation of test procedures and prepare reports.
• Provide QC support throughout (e.g. projects, product transfers and regulatory inspections).

• General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, etc
• Problem solving of analytical methods as well as troubleshooting of equipment will also be performed as the employee advances from one level to the next.
• Perform routine testing with supervisor direction
• Perform assay review achieved with assay competency with supervisor direction
• Provides frequent feedback to supervisor/manager.

Education
Requires BS or equivalent experience in clean room operations.

Special Requirements
• Ability to gown and gain access to cleanroom areas

• Position is considered essential personnel and may be required to staff the lab during inclement weather or other internal/external emergency situations

Test Equipment Software Engineer

Description:
A Test Equipment Software Engineer position in Atlanta, GA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and automation of test and measurement systems for testing and characterization of complex military avionics displays. In addition, the position will include collaboration with other scientists, engineers, and management to analyze test data, generate visualizations, and create reports. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree, minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience and certified in LabVIEW & TestStand. This is a very visible, contract to hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

JOB TITLE Job duties:
* Develop special test equipment (STE) software design specifications and test requirements
* Conduct preliminary design review of STE software design architecture
* Identify STE hardware and software required to meet specification requirements
* Identify and develop documentation that defines communication protocols from STE to device under test
* Develop STE software architecture requirements that provide a hardware abstraction layer for lower level interfaces with commercial and custom hardware defined in the STE specifications.
* Conduct critical design review of STE software design architecture


Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
* National Instruments CLA/CTA experience using NI tools (LabVIEW, TestStand) , PXI chassis and 3rd party, box-level hardware.
* Works with other disciplines to support goals of the business. Possesses foresight in identifying future problems and proposes potential solutions to the team (proactive).
* Background in a military electronics manufacturing environment (Preferred)
* Strong Office tool skills along with a general instrumentation hardware and software knowledge.
* Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
