NJ Based Bridge Engineer

Description:
*This is a Full time permanent position located in Mount Holly NJ*
*Candidates must live or are relocating to within 1 hour of job location*
*Full benefit package and bonus are included*



We are hiring for a Permanent NJ based Structural Bridge Engineer. Candidate will be responsible for the full gamut of completing a bridge project [from conventional grade separations to major, complex river crossings, trusses, arches, box girders and cable-stayed bridges] conceptualization to RFI/RFP to specification and material design and development to inspection and completion.



Daily duties might include working with teams to create and submit an RFI/RFP, design with design teams, meeting with customers/site visitations, developing plans/bid packages, cost estimating, creation and maintenance of schedules and milestones, impact studies, researching and obtaining permits, help with QC/QA documentation, Working with NJDOT as needed, creating and presenting reports to management and local/Gov’t entities, etc.



Required:

*5-10 years’ experience working as a bridge/highway construction engineer.

*Strong design experience, using AutoCad 2013 or higher; understanding of manual drafting.

*BS in Civil Engineering

*New Jersey licensed EIT
