Instrumentation Strain Gage Technician

Assignment (Contract): 1 year
Location: Stratford, CT
Industry: Aviation/ Aerospace
2 openings 1st and 2nd shift

Position Roles & Responsibilities:
Candidate must have 7 to 10 years� experience. Strong strain gage installation experience required to support ongoing Engineering Flight and Ground test operations. Must have knowledge of strain Gage Bridge wiring methodology. Must be able to Select, Apply, and Wire strain gages to aircraft and facility components manufactured from of a variety of metals and composites.

Must have experience and ability to accomplish required surface preparation, gage measurement, layout, alignment and bonding.

Must have experience with measurement systems, instrumentation wiring and documentation.
