Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen / No dual citizen

Min years of experience: Sikorsky Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor experience required.

Degree Requirements: BS in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology



Proficient with CATIA V5, SAP, SOLUMINA and Right Hemisphere

The ability to communicate with offsite design, ME and Program management

Must be a self-starter and take on task when called upon.

Experience working in a Flight Operations environment

Able to work on their own, 7 days a week, self-starter, able to make decisions on the fly and own their own

Aviation Experience

Writing rework plans, MER, creating working instructions to support flight operations during testing phase. Must be knowledgeable in MS Office products.

Must be able to write weekly reports for duties completed to on-site LM management team.

The responsibilities of this position provide technical liaison support between all disciplines in order to expedite the flight release of a scheduled aircraft. This includes recommending corrective actions to engineering, operations and quality.

Perform producibility evaluation of Engineering changes, processing of engineering changes for planning of work instructions, bill of materials and tooling in support of flight test, Communicate with integrated flight test Engineering team (ITT), and the integrated product team (IPT), operations and the NAVAIR customers.

The engineer must be able to work the required hours to support a scheduled flight release.
