Title: Reliability Engineer - Level 2

Description
Built-In-Test (BIT) Engineer to execute BIT program on DoD System, to include BIT allocations, predictions, modeling, and Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). The engineer will monitor suppliers in the development and implementation of BIT architecture, requirements and implementation. Conduct analysis and review of data from system and supplier test events and failures to identify issues and mature the BIT system through corrective action. Prepare and present at design and program reviews. Develop BIT DRSs and support hardware design activities. Support SW Engineers in the implementation of BIT requirements in SRS's. Generate and maintain BIT maturity metrics. Perform Reliability and BIT testing as necessary. Provide Reliability support as required.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:

- Active Secret security clearance - Experience conducting Reliability efforts and testing and verification to include experience with performing reliability predictions, and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) - Experience with Windchill Quality Solutions Reliability software tool or equivalent tool - Experience with reliability Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) - Maintainability and Testability/Built-In-Test (BIT) engineering experience to include BIT Architecture definition and BIT analysis - Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships - Strong oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to communicate findings to customers and management
Desired:

- Electrical Engineering degree. - Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding. - Diagnostic algorithm development – diagnostic tests/procedures to perform fault detection and fault isolation. - Software skills – Ability to read code and design requirements for software engineers to write BIT tests. - Ability to teach others BIT / testability. - Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting. - Familiarity and ability to model systems with US Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity (AMSAA) Reliability Growth Planning Models (PM2-Continuous and PM2-Discrete), Reliability Growth Tracking Model (RGTM-C), Reliability Growth Projection Models (ACPM, AMPM, and ADPM), and Reliability Test Planning Tools (IPT-C and IPT-D)
