Stress Analyst - Service Engineer

Description:
Requirements:
1) A fundamental understanding of static stress analysis as it relates to sizing airframe structural repairs 2) Experience as a stress analyst in post-production environment or a production MRB stress engineer 3) Experience with airworthiness regulations in regards to major repairs or alterations of external airframe parts and components and the requirements to find compliance when analyzing a repair
4) The ability to effectively work with & support a multidiscipline team of engineers, mechanics, Tech Ops, Quality Control, upper management, etc.
5) Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively communicate the organization's position with external and internal customers
6) Practical hands on aircraft experience and problem solving
The following unique skills are preferred:
1) Gulfstream engineering experience, e.g. G650, G500, G600.
2) Experience in fatigue analysis and damage tolerance analysis.
3) Experience in the repair and analysis of composite structure
4) Experience in repair and analysis of aircraft landing gear.
5) Experience in development of Structural Repair Manual (SRM) data.
6) Experience with foreign airworthiness regulatory agencies
7) Preferable if candidate is an FAA certified Structures DER (Designated Engineering Representative) or a Gulfstream ODA certified Structures AR (Airworthiness Representative).
