Job Description

Position Overview:

Cyient Aerospace & Defense division is seeking an Experienced Senior Electrical Parts, Materials and Process Engineer to provide support to a major defense program in US.
Position Responsibilities:
Engineer shall provide electrical parts, materials and process engineer services, which will include but not be limited to:
o Support Query Note/Squawk dispositions (bundle fabrication supplier queries)
o Develop new assembly processes for connectors, backshells, cables, shielding/overbraid, and any other associated wire harness components.
o Provide configuration control for wire harness process documents by providing updates and releases
o Process new connectors/backshells/cables for use on Aircraft by:
o Developing substantiation (analysis/test),
o Interfacing with and obtain concurrence from EWIS UMs/ARs/DERs,
o Overseeing/coordinating test programs as required.
o Support Integrated Product Team design requests (what parts/processes to use in a given application)
Supplier personnel require wire harness PM&P engineering experience and experience in electrical design for Boeing aircraft is preferred
This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
o 3 or more years' experience working with Cables Wire Harness PMP
o Experience developing new assembly processes for connectors, backshells, cables, shielding/overbraid
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
o Degree in Electrical Engineering.
o Experience with Boeing Commercial / Defense airplane programs systems.
o Relevant and recent work experience in Electrical PMP
o Experience with wire harness components and specifications.
