Systems Configuration Management

Description:
This role primarily involves the development and continued support of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes for ground systems, including configuration management, approval workflows, change tracking and ongoing maintenance

Mandatory:
B.S. degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

5+ years of Systems Engineering and/or Configuration Management experience, including complex system development projects within the Aerospace, Automotive or similar safety critical industry. Extensive use of Windchill, including change notices, variances, contexts, and baselines. Experience with maintaining configuration of both components and documents throughout their lifecycle (initial release through obsolescence). Prior ownership of process development initiatives, with a preference related to systems engineering or configuration management. Organized self-starter, capable of breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Desired Skills:
Experience with the following software: JIRA, DOORS, DOOR Next Generation. Prior experience in design, build and/or test of fluids and cryogenic systems. Prior experience with test instrumentation, control systems or control software (Labview). Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering principles and methods in part of a complex system lifecycle – one or more of: requirement definition, design solution definition, implementation, integration, verification and validation, qualification, commissioning or operations.
