Systems Engineer DOORS

Description:
*This is a full time, 1 year contract to hire position located in York, PA*

*Per diem split is available for out of the area applicants*

*Pay rates may have some flexibility*



We are seeking a system engineer / requirements engineer who will be conducting requirements analysis, requirements development, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), cost, and risk assessments, trade studies, and document system design descriptions.



Daily duties will consist of developing component level performance specifications and traceability using DOORS. Scope of work will also encompass developing requirements compliance, interface control diagrams (ICDs), developing trade studies, coordinating SE activities with IPTs, providing engineering support program reviews.



Required:
*4-6 years’ experience developing engineering requirements/specifications (subsystems and components); requirement derivation, allocation and management using DOORS.

*Strong system design (not data entry, but true design) of DoD, Aerospace or Military projects using DOORS.

*Good SOW understanding
*Familiar with balance system design considering system usage CONOPS, performance, constraints, and logistics.
*Understanding risks and management of deadlines and milestone reviews.

*Out of area candidates are eligible for Perdiem split; Overtime is available.
*4 year degree



Pluses:

*Knowledge of Interface Control Diagrams (ICD)

*Military vehicle applications design experience

*SysML / MagicDraw(System Modeling Language) experience

*Knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network) Bus strategies and implementation

*Able to plan, conduct and document complex trade studies.
