Flight Test Operations Engineer F35

Description:
*This is a full time, 15 month contract position located in Patuxent River, MD*



We are hiring for a Flight Test / Instrumentation Operations Engineer, to work on F35 Test and Verification (T&V) including mechanical/electrical installations and modifications to the FTI Airborne Data Acquisition and Camera Systems, handle post flight data, attend pre/post-flight briefings, develop/maintain instrumentation configuration control documentation and data system configuration files and manage support requirements for real-time FTI system health monitoring in a mission control room environment.



Required:
*Experience in flight test engineering that involves some of the following: data acquisition, telemetry, digital/analog circuits, RF applications, sensors applications.
*Good instrumentation background.
*Ability to travel, as needed (more info on this during the interview)

*Active Top Secret Clearance
*4 year degree in an engineering discipline



Pluses:
*F35 experience

*Knowledge of instrumentation devices to develop, test, and troubleshoot data processing algorithms for aircraft data
*Familiarity with bus protocols;
*Developing, writing and executing data processing acceptance test procedures;
*Implementation of Windows workstations on an enterprise network;
*Knowledge of IADS; IRIG Chapter 10 recording; TMATS; GPS and IRIG time standards and receiving devices
*Proficient computer skills and Windows10/Microsoft Office user experience.
