6+ month contract

Our client is looking for a technical writer with 10+ years of experience, specifically in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with aerospace technical manuals including but not limited to illustrated parts catalogues, SRMs, and service bulletins.

Qualifications:
•Technical writing
•Technical illustrating
•Analytical thinking
•Great verbal and written communication skills
•Strong command of English language.
•Familiarity with simplified Technical English
•Ability to read and understand 2D traditional drawings.
•Ability to understand 3D solid models and data sets.
•Experience with maintenance manuals, repair manuals , structural repair manuals
•Experience with aircraft or automotive technical manuals
•Attention to detail
•Quality oriented mindset
•Self Starter
•Self Motivated
•Keen willingness to learn by digging for answers but also by asking questions.

Education:
•4 year College degree preferred: English majors, Business degrees, science degree.
•2 year engineering associate degrees equally preferred.
