Systems Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
2. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
3. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
4. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in electrical engineering, computer engineering or software engineering or related technical field.
2. System test, design, or development experience

Desired skills
1. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Framemaker and Unix based platform environments.
3. Able to work overtime and multitask.
4. Familiarity with aircraft vehicle systems or mission system architecture.
5. Highly motivated individual with the ability to continually learn and expand F35 system knowledge in a fast pace environment.
6. Ability to work well with team members across multiple organizations, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.

1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
