Mass Properties Engineer

Description:
*This is a 1 year, contract position located in FT Worth*



We are hiring for a mass properties engineer who will be working on military aircraft and factors affecting craft weight, center of gravity, and inertia. The position will be supporting the airframe and systems related configuration change studies areas, performing an ongoing analysis to assure approved changes are fully reflected in aircraft level predictions.



Required:
*4 years’ experience working in Mass Properties/Weights engineering
*strong data analysis, ECOs, working data into databases for analytics
*Familiar with CATIA and VAS (Visualization Assembly System)
*Decent computer skills including VB/C++ and SQL
*Experience using SAWE RP8
*Ability to apply and gain a Secret Clearance upon starting; US Citizens only please
*Engineering degree

Pluses:
*Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
