Avionics Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc.
2. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Software/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical degree.
2. Experience with developing and delivering software

Desired Skills:
1. Experience with fixed wing aircraft datalink and
Communication/Navigation/Identifications systems.
2. Program management experience including; planning, scheduling, EVMS, risk management, configuration management and problem resolution
3. An understanding of the build, integration, and test processes
4. The ability to build and maintain effective working - relationships with customers, suppliers, peers and partners.

Education:
1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
