Material Planner

Description:
A Junior Material Planner (long term) contract is currently available at Belcan in Trumbull, CT. Great matching candidates will have effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong customer relationships. You will be tracking, validating, expediting and reporting real time part delivery status for our large aerospace & helicopter producing client.

Junior Material Planner job duties:
* Track the flow of critical, 'hot parts' from supply base
* Monitor all parts to support on-time deliveries to various aerospace customers
* Mitigate potential delivery delays by identifying risks, performing root cause analysis and development of recovery plans to bring shipments back in-line with customer requirements
*
Qualifications:
* HS Diploma or equivalent, AS or BS preferred
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel basic skills required)
* Effective communication and customer service skills required
* Legal authorization to work in the US required
Desired but not required skills:
* SAP proficiency
* Advanced Excel
