Project Engineer

Description:
This is a Project Engineer role in charge of:
1. Develops project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects and suggests appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.
2. Records and documents delay, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.
3. Conducts meetings, consolidates, and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
4. Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
5. Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
6. Liaises between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
7. Reviews project and budget status, manages schedules and prepares reports.
8. Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
9. Meets program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).

Education / Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 5+ years of related work experience.
3. Aerospace experience required.
4. Experience working within DO-254 and DO-178 certification program(s), including Stages of Involvement (SOI) Audits under EASA or FAA.
