Mechanical Development Engineer

Description:
Johnson Service Group is looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer in Simsbury, CT.

***Must have experience in electronics or mechanical housing or product design and component level mechanical design work. Should have a basic understanding of electrical applications to ensure mechanical designs are suitable for product integration.

Responsibilities/Qualifications
Detailed mechanical design/analysis, prototyping, and a variety of troubleshooting efforts
Experience generating 3D solid models & 2D drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
Tooling and Fixturing design
BS/MS in an engineering discipline (mechanical preferred) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in product design of defense and/or aerospace products.
