Structures Lead

Description:
Currently looking for an experienced Senior Level Structural Engineer to to fill an opening with a company located in Moses Lake, WA. Interested candidates should have at least 10 years exposure to flight test and another 5-10 years of aviation based experience in an engineering environment.


Responsibilities of the Structural Engineer Lead


Discuss, review and participated in airplane structural and system modification plans and preparation activities.
Resolve technical issues relating to structural and system installation.
Support Maintenance Engineering teams during modification periods.
Generate structural and system installation change modification drawings.
Ensure on-time Engineering deliverables to support flight test schedule.
Lead and oversee the technical and design aspects for structures/systems installation.
Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that arise.









Requirements
10+ years of test flight or certification experience.
5-10 years of aerospace engineering experience.
Good understanding of aircraft systems and operations.
Future-oriented in thinking and operation.
Ability to successfully contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Able to instil a sense of urgency in team members.
Able to be patient and objective in difficult situations with different types of people.
Strong analytical skills, with an ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve and effectively and efficiently make decisions.
Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
Good project management skills, including the ability to take ownership for accomplishing assigned tasks.
Results-oriented planner and delegator who ensures that goals are met. Able to set priorities and keep to projected schedules.
