Electrical Fabrication Technician

Description:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Background in fabrication of electronic chassis, rack and cable assemblies, utilizing minimal documentation
Proficiency in soldering of connectors and minimal PWB component assemblies, crimping of connector pin assemblies
Ability to interpret schematic drawings, and mechanical drawings
Familiarity of electronic components such as switches, relays, diodes, etc
Familiarity with DMM’s and other basic electronic test equipment
Ability to perform basic checkout and troubleshooting of electronic components
Ability to use common hand tools for mechanical assembly and familiarity with fasteners
Basic PC applications knowledge preferred: MS Word, VISIO, MS Excel

We are looking for someone with fabrication experience with Racks, Rack Wiring, the chassis ( test boxes) we building for inside the box. This is a lot of assembly with minimal supervision and wiring in both connectors, and discrete electronic components and some PWB’s
****Seeking technician that can do fabrication of chassis/harness, rack assemblies. Not a factory environment, will be reviewing drawing/schematics to fabricate product. Should be able to work independently. There are team members available for reference, but looking for someone with strong fabrication skill to start with minimal training. Will also do certification work on assemblies, cables. During int. will ask about more complex fabrication work done. Ask about ability to troubleshoot fabrication work. Experience working in small teams(2-4 people)
