Integration and Test Engineer - Level 2

Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $45/hr (DOE)
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Shift: First, 9/80
Secret Clearance: (Prime Contract: Can start w/o clearance: Yes; Interim Clearance Sufficient: Yes)

Job Description:
-Designs, develops, and implements integration and testing methods and equipment.
-Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
-Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
-Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
-Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.


Mandatory Skills:
-A multifaceted Systems Test Engineer to provide support for the Javelin Spiral 3 seeker Design Verification Testing and qualification.
-This position will require the candidate to:
1) assess system requirements for the purpose of designing and drafting test plans and procedures;
2) manage acquisition and preparation of test articles;
3) coordinate and manage execution of the development and test activities;
4) gather and analyze environmental and EO test data for the purpose of quantifying performance against requirements.
-REQUIRES A LOT OF EXPERIENCE WITH ELECTRO-OPTICS REQUIREMENTS INTERPRETATION, INTEGRATION & TEST OPERATIONS MANDATORY.
-Systems Engineer - Requires a Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with a keen interest in weapon system development.
-Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++ is desired.
-Strong background in mathematics and proficiency in MATLAB or a related simulation tool is essential.
-Course work or related experience in integration and testing of hardware and or software components highly beneficial.
