EWIS Senior Components Engineer

Description:
We are seeking a Components Engineer with EWIS experience to fill an opening for an exciting company in Nagoya, Japan. Interested candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with electrical wiring interconnected systems (EWIS) specifically related to certification and airworthiness.

Responsibilities of the EWIS Senior Components Engineer

Evaluating aircraft design and creating analysis reports with respect to EWIS related airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA and EASA
Creating and executing the EWIS group certification plan.
Perform analysis for designs including the review of ground and flight tests, design reviews, inspections, and other system reports.
Review the preparation of documents defining aircraft environment and approved part usage.
Approve testing required for components and EWIS harness assemblies qualification.
Review of manufacturing processes related to EWIS harness assembly construction and installation.
Procure QTP/QTRs or similarity reports from EWIS components suppliers.
Create QTP and conduct the Qualification Test, then prepare the QTR/QSAR(Qualification Similarity Analysis Report).
Determine or update the qualification requirements of all EWIS components.
Create and manage a strategy for EWIS components qualification, including proposing alternative parts to reduce weigh and or cost.
Provide technical expertise and assist in resolving EWIS issues during any rig testing, Wire Harness manufacturing or Wire Harness Installation.

Requirements

Excellent working experience in commercial aerospace.
4 year degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, or Instrumentation)
5-10 years of experience with EWIS and air fact certification.
Excellent communication skills.
